I am an illustrator and graphic designer based in Brooklyn, New York, inspired by the way humans interact, behave, and form relationships with the world and nature around them. As a detail-oriented creative, who is well versed in various art styles and media, I am driven by work in the education industry, employing my skills to help and promote teachers, who are often taken for granted.
My highly saturated surrealist paintings contrast the children’s books inspired illustrations with pastel colors and clean lines. In my personal work, I’m drawn to illustrating imagined landscapes, and dreamlike scenes, because it lets me present my dreams in a physical way that I can share and come back to. It’s a way to make sure some ideas, visuals, or fantasies don’t disappear or get lost in my mind forever. This art tends to combine nature and organic atmospheres with humans, and manmade objects. The surrealist outcomes are a perfect representation of my everyday make beliefs, and where I go to daydream.
As for my more commercial illustration projects, I like working with people personally, and being able to execute their ideas in a way that makes them feel as though they are the artist themselves. Bringing to life someone’s vision when they are unable to, is a gift that allows more and more people, not just artists, to grow their creativity.
People that work to help others, are the kind of people I chose to work with, so I enjoy taking on illustration and design jobs for other educators, and innovators, whom I feel are doing their part in bettering our lives and future.
All of my website design and illustration is done digitally, however as soon as I move on to personal works and painting commissions, I take on acrylic, oil, and watercolor. I never stick to the same materials, and improvise, with the final piece containing anything from socks to plastic, to ash.

Currently I work full time as a Toy Designer at YOTTOY, in NYC. I get to do everything from designing toys and making prototypes, to photography, illustration and graphic design for our social media and catalog.
